Sherry has two projects for us this time around, a beginner and an intermiate project. Both will begin at 10AM. You can sign up for the beginner one which will be two thick wooden hearts and will be from 10AM-NOON. Or you can sign up for the advanced project that will also start at 10AM and take until about 3:30PM. Choose one or the other….you won’t have time to do both. Beginner Project:
Glass Mosaic Hearts: Each person will mosaic two 4.5” x 4.5” thicker wooden hearts. This is a free form design, so be thinking about what you want to create!
Advanced Project:
Glass Mosaic Pumpkin: Each person in the advanced group will mosaic a 3D pumpkin. You will be provided with a pumpkin form that is approx. 6.5” in diameter and 5.5” tall, and glass will be added on all the surfaces to create a beautiful 3D mosaic pumpkin!
About the teacher:
Sherry Hearn is a professional glass mosaic artist and has been creating art pieces and doing custom work in private homes and businesses for 20+ years. She lives in Bandera and this is the fourth mosaic workshop she has taught here at The Art Space 830. We’re thrilled to have her back!
