Build on your crochet basics in this engaging intermediate class as you explore two versatile texture techniques: the griddle stitch, and puff stitch. Students will create a charming floral sampler project while learning how to combine stitches for added dimension and decorative detail. Along the way, you’ll practice stitch placement, improve consistency, and gain confidence reading patterns. By the end of class, you’ll have a finished piece featuring textured fabric, and dimensional flowers—plus the skills to incorporate these techniques into your own future projects. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own favorite size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook and worsted weight yarn in colors of your choice.

Carrie has been crocheting for over 30 years and still gets excited every time she picks up a hook. With a passion for yarn and a love for teaching, she's spent the past 5 years helping others discover the joy and creativity of crochet. Whether you're just learning the basics or looking to expand your skills, Carrie's patient and down-to-earth teaching style makes everyone feel welcome.
